Problem Note 51740: In SAS® 9.4 TS1M0, email attachment names might be truncated

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS 9.4 TS1M0, if you use email attachments that are not text files, such as PDF files or Excel files, and the name of the attachment is longer than 42 characters, the name of the attachment is truncated. Consequently, the email recipient is unable to double-click the attachment in the email to open the file. Also, the recipient must save the file and rename it, or open the correct application and then open the attachment file.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

The hot fix allows the email attachment to be read and the attachment is no longer truncated.
